Description A Carved Bamboo Figure of Yawning Luohan,Pantha the Elder
18TH CENTURY
清中期 封錫祿式竹雕探手羅漢
carved in the style of Feng Xilu, yawning with mouth wide open and hands clasped, seated on jagged rockwork and dressed in loose robes revealing his collarbones and upper ribs, the patina of a warm reddish-brown color.
