明 剔紅山水紋筆一對
each brush and cover of even cylindrical form, and meeting at a carved keyfret border. The brushes deeply carved to a ground of undulating waves and cloud bosses with a continuous landscape scene with figures ascending bridge into lofty peaks suffuse with craggy rockery and boughs of radiating pines. The landscape continuous to the covers, where minute figures are dwarfed by towering rock formations.
Length 9 5/8 in., 24.5 cm.
