the roaring beast depicted standing foursquare on its clawed feet above an unglazed platform, the head reared upwards with lips curled to reveal dagger-like fangs and a pointed tongue beneath the wide pair of bulging eyes, framed by bushy eyebrows extending to a coiled mane; the tail curling up to help support the lotus stand on the back above a long woven blanket and secured by a tasseled harness.
