清晚期 藍緞地龍紋吉服袍
finely worked to the front and back with nine dragons couched in duo-chrome metallic threads in pursuit of ‘flaming pearls’ about central tight needle-looped stitches depicting auspicious symbols, amidst satin-stitched cloud scrolls and bats interspersed with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, all above a terrestrial diagram and five-color lishuistripe surrounding twelve needleloop roundels, the collar and horse cuffs worked with further dragons against a deeper ground; lined in a pale blue damask and fastened with silk toggles.
Width across chest 29 in x length from back of collar to hem 56 1/2 in., 73.6 x 143.5 cm.
