Description A Rock Crystal 'Lion' Carving

the stone of high clarity, carved in the form of the striding beast with a lush curling mane and tail, the neck arched backwards, turning the head and exposing a wide grimace beneath bulging eyes, all risen above a hardwood stand deftly carved in openwork to suggest rockery with lingzhi sprays.
Length 3 3/4 in., 9.5 cm.
