Notes This delicate type of bonheur-du-jour?was one of the most enduring and popular designs by Charles Topino (circa 1735-1803) between 1770 and 1775. The 'chinoiserie' still-life marquetry derives from motifs that decorated Chinese coromandel lacquer screens.
