Condition Report Order of Garter cufflinks - British hallmarks for London, 9 carat gold, date letter A for 1936, sponsor's mark ECLd. Some very minor pits to enamel. Case stamped Heming & Co. Monogram MW - British hallmarks for Birmingham, 9 carat gold, date letter G for 1931 and sponsor's mark MN&WB. Case stamped Mappin & Webb, outside stamped with monogram MW. Reverse with some light tarnish BAFTA Mask - British hallmarks for London, silver, date letter D for 2003, sponsor's mark SER. Some tarnish. Case stamped Stephen Riordan Mother-of-pearl buttons - stamped 15ct. Some light wear to enamel, three with shallow chips Onyx and diamond - unsigned. Set with cushion-shaped diamonds. With one onyx and rose-cut diamond stud Stock pins - one set comprising six pins, each stamped 6, one pin slightly bent, case stamped Wilson & Gill. One set of four stock pins, three stamped 9ct, one stamped 18. Case stamped Asprey Stick pins - two set with a pearl (untested for natural origin). One with foiled almandine garnets in closed settings. One with an aquamarine, stamped 18kt GWB. One with a circle set with single-cut diamonds. One set with a pearl beneath a flame motif set with single-cut diamonds. Two money clips Group of cufflinks/buttons/studs - pair of mother of pearl and split pearl cufflinks, four mother of pearl and enamel buttons, eight cultured pearl studs, four onyx and split pearl buttons,four gold studs (stamped 18) and a single rock crystal cufflink Overall condition good.

Provenance The items with the silver BAFTA mask, Michael, 7th Baron Brabourne (1924-2005).
The cufflinks with the crest of Stanhope, are for James Richard Stanhope, 7th Earl Stanhope (11 November 1880 – 15 August 1957), who succeeded to the title in 1905. He was invested as a Knight of the Garter in 1934. Lord Stanhope married, in 1921, Lady Eileen Agatha Browne (1889–1940), eldest daughter of George Browne, 6th Marquess of Sligo and?sister of Lady Brabourne.
