Thinly potted, painted in the centre with portrait titled ‘S. PETRUS’ amidst floral scrolls in famille rose enamels, highlighted in gilt, the rim decorated with gilt and en grisaille ‘bandelwerk’ of doves, scale panels and florettes interrupted at the bottom by a small oval pictorial roundel depicting a solitary bird, diameter 9.1" — 23 cm.
