Two Buddhist relics

the first a torso of (Vairochana) Buddha on a double lotus base 19.5cm high, the other a sculpture of White Tara, repoussé copper/bronze on a double lotus base 31cm high (2)
Provenance: Ex collection: Sir Olaf Caroe (1892-1981)
Note: By repute the two relics were found in the 1930s while engineers were dredging the river Druk-Cho (Druk-Chu) (a tributary of the Jialing River) in Tewo County near Taktsang Lhamo region in Amdo Tibet
Obvious losses that can be seen in the images such as the head and other parts, sign of water staining etc
