A German parcel-gilt silver spoon with cherub mask knop finial, maker's mark indistinct, apparently a monogram in distinctive escutcheon-shaped punch, Augsburg, probably first half of 17th century, the faceted stem notched with four bands, back of bowl with worn inscribed initials and date "K-P-D 1664", 15.2 cm. long, wt. 37 gm.
Overall in good condition, bowl relatively even all round
