Two ivory snuffboxes, Japan, late 19th - early 20th century-
One in black and red tinted ivory of rectangular shape with cut sides decorated with a seated woman holding a fan and a servant in a garden with a prunus in bloom, bamboos and stylized clouds on one side; on the reverse, a bird in flight among chrysanthemums and clouds. The small sides, foot and neck are decorated with geometric and stylized motifs. Qianlong mark with two characters on the base. Stopper in suite. Japan, 1854-1920. Height : 7,8 cm ; weight : 58 g-
