These chests served not only the transfer of the dowry to the family of the groom, but also as a permanent storage for valuables. Textiles and other treasures are protected by the solid construction and the durable material against pests and thieves. Characteristic are the double lock, the wheels and axles made of wood and the secret boxes inside the bottom of the chest. Height 103cm, width 134cm, depth 79cm. Condition A/B.
