Japan. Meiji period. Late 19th c. Ivory with finely carved and engraved details, evenly colored. Cartwright, with hammer and chisel working on the nave of the wheel. Next to the wheel is a basket with tooles. Width 4.1cm. Signed: Yoshikazu in curved reserve, colored red. Cf. LA p. 1234. Condition A/B. Three small closings on the edge of the wheel.
