A fine and rare small ding bowl Of round form, the thin body moulded to the interior with two phoenix amidst peony and scrolling foliage, a single flower head in the well, and a key-fret pattern around the rim, the back plain, raised on a small straight foot, covered in a white/ ivory glaze thinning towards the rim. Period: Song (960?1279). Diameter: 9.5 cm.
