EXTRAORDINARY, RARE pair of 18/19th C Qing Dynasty Chinese Zitan four sides lanterns stands. In rectangular tall frame, enclosed the four sides glass panels with attractive gilt dragon amidst clouds over rocky mountain and cresting waves, supported by GU vase shaped cloisonne gilt bronze post upon square prominent Zitan foot base. The gilt bronze post decorated in cloisonne works with colorful floral and key fret motifs aver the pale-turquoise ground. Adorned with elaborate open-work pierced gallery and apron. The Zitan wood shows lustrous purple-brown patina, with fine feathery grain.
