The underside have a triple concentric circles of cobalt above the foot.The porcelain glaze is fairly thick with a slight blue cast. The glaze feels soft and smooth like silk. A pale under glaze cobalt has been painted first then fired. A second firing was done after the over glaze enamels of red, green, gray, black and gold were painted on. The dishes have slight unglazed foot rings. The bases are glazed.
