Nicely painted porcelain spoon with auspicious symbols and a scene of three Immortals.The porcelain spoon is large with a nicely curved handle. The end of the handle is lobed like petals with a hole for a cord. Each petal on the handle is outlined in a fine blue line. The long handle is painted with a bat and a pine branch. The bowl of the spoon is curved to a flat base and is decorated with three immortals standing under a moon. The painting is detailed and accurate. The cobalt used is a nice dark blue without a purplish cast.The porcelain color is slightly off white. The base of the spoon is glazed and has five small sager marks. The handle has four small sager marks too. The glaze is smooth and feels thin.There are no marks or labels.MEASUREMENTS 8 9/16a€ (21.3 cm) long x 2 7/16a€ (6.2 cm) wide x 2 5/8a€ (6.7 cm) high.
