A SOUTH EAST ASIAN BLUE AND WHITE DECORATED PORCELAIN SPOUTED KENDI VESSEL, POSSIBLY CHINESE, SHIPWRECK CARGO, LATE 16TH CENTURY, the ovoid kendi form pouring vessel with flanged knop over a long cylindrical neck, the knop decorated with a band of overlapping leaves and the neck with alternating outlined panels of five petal blossoms with bracketed foliage and dotted crosses, over a band of vertical lines and half nested squares, the body decorated with alternating outlined panels of five petal blossoms with bracketed foliage and five petal blossoms with curvilinear foliage, at the front an onion form spout with cloud and artemis leaf decoration, raised on ring foot.
