Description: A PAIR OF CHINESE KANGXI BLUE AND WHITE LARGE DISHES KANGXI PERIOD
The dishes of moulded lobed flower form, with shaped reserves to the cavetto depicting different flowers emerging from rocks, and to the centre a spray of peonies and chrysanthemum emerging from garden rocks surrounded by butterflies and insects. The reverse with a six character mark 'Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi' within a double circle to the centre.

One dish with a chip to the rim, and two chips to the footrim. The other with a chip and a firing crack to the footrim, and a couple of very small chips to the rim.
