The large porcelain jardiniere decorated to the sides with two pairs of phoenix dancing on garden rocks amongst peonies above a lower border of stylised waves, and an upper diaper pattern border. Unglazed base.

Long crack in the body in the lower part of the jardiniere, professionally stabilised. A small frit to one part of the rim. Some wear to the glaze from normal use.
