. This large stoneware jar was most likely made at one of the kilns in Henan province. It is of an unusual form and is particularly "heavily-potted". It is coated in a thick dark-brown to black glaze, the colour of which varies depending on its thickness. Height & diameter 24.5 cm (9.5 inches). Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 – 1368) or Ming Dynasty (AD 1368 – 1644).
