Description A pair of Chinese famille rose tianqiu vases dating from the Republic period. Both vases depict identical scenes of children playing in a garden. Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 9 inches wide, 40.6 cm X 22.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition Report There is glaze wear and glaze chipping to both.
Provenance From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
