Description Bergama prayer rug, Western Anatolia, mid-19th century. A joyous triumph of color and wool quality by a weaver who poured her heart into this little square carpet. It was one of Leigh and Sally Marsh's favorites and hung in their stairwell for many years. Not much else to say, except it is a wonderful piece of carpet art -- and spirit.
