Provenance: Property of a Lancashire family Cracked and restored through horse's legs, extensive overpainting throughout to the majority of surface. With probable extensive restoration, this is evident to the rider and his arms (probably replaced), with two testing drill holes to the reverse of his head, to the horse's rear and side of cheek. The horse's tail and ears restored, the horse probably restored around neck although the extent of overpainting makes is difficult to ascertain the extent of restoration.
