Spettacolare grande veduta di Parigi, disegnata da Callot durante il soggiorno a Parigi nel 1628-1630 e incisa dopo il suo ritorno a Nancy. In questa incisione raffigura una veduta della capitale incentrata sul Pont neuf. Mostra la vita quotidiana dei parigini nel XVII secolo. La Senna occupa quindi un posto centrale nell'approvvigionamento della città e nel suo commercio. Questa incisione è una preziosa testimonianza dell’epoca. Spectacular large view of Paris, drawn by Callot during his stay in Paris in 1628-1630 and engraved after his return to Nancy. In this engraving, Jacques Callot depicts a view of the capital centred on the Pont neuf. He shows the daily life of Parisians in the 17th century. Thus, the Seine has a central place in the supply of the city and its trade. This engraving is worn as a witness of the life in the XVIIth century.
