A Tibetan thangka of Palden Lhamo. She is wrathful in appearance and dark blue in colour, riding a mule across a river of blood, right hand holds a staff, the left hand a skull cup, above the head a small peacock parasol, behind the ears a snake and a snow lion respectively, she is heavily adorned with body parts and vipers. Her two attendants “Makara Faced One” and “Lion Faced” flank the mule. Framed 19th- early 20th century. Image 49×32 cm
